The University of Toronto is proud to present the 2nd edition of the National Soccer Coaching Conference the weekend of February 2nd and 3rd, 2013. The conference will be held on the University of Toronto St. George Campus in the heart of downtown Toronto in our state-of-the-art full-field indoor facility. The players used for all on-field sessions will include members of the Varsity Blues men's and women's soccer teams, as well as players from the Toronto FC Academy. All venues for the conference are within walking distance and located just off the subway line.
All REP coaches are invited to enroll. The cost of the conference is $100 per person for the seminars which the Vaughan Soccer Club will 100% subsidize. The Vaughan Soccer Club strongly believes in providing all of our coaching staff with all the latest information to improve and impart the game of soccer to our young athletes.
This National Soccer Conference would be enhancing and promoting our young coaches awareness of CSA, OSA and Canadian Government Wellness in Sport program which the Vaughan Soccer Club has adopted as part of our philosophy to develop young athletes compete in the world as well as to promote physical well being in a non competitive atmosphere throughout their life time.
Our Head Coach Carmine Isacco, who is the assistant coach for U19 men's Canadian National Team and York University Men and Women, is strongly endorsing this National Conference which usually takes place in Kingston, Ontario but this year it takes place in our own backyard Toronto.
We believe that by encouraging our coaches and training staff to participate at this event we will be immersing in promoting and enhancing the program to the youth of our community. Our coaches and trainers will be able to impart their knowledge to other coaches, trainers as well as the youth players that will be under their tutelage.
