RAIN/GAME CANCELLATION POLICY:
PLEASE PHONE 905-832-8577 EXTENSION # 4 .
-IF THE FIELDS ARE NOT CLOSED ON YOUR GAME NIGHT YOU MUST SHOW UP TO THE FIELD READY TO PLAY.
ONLY THE REFEREE CAN CANCEL THE GAME. (IF THE REFEREE DOES NOT SHOW UP EACH COACH HAS TO REF ONE HALF OF THE GAME [SEE RULE - 17.1])
-IF IT IS A PRACTICE NIGHT CANCELLATION IS UP TO THE COACH'S DISCRETION.

CANCELLED GAMES MUST BE MADE UP ON THE WEEKEND OF THE CANCELED GAME If A REFEREE IS NEEDED.
CANCELLED PRACTICES COULD BE MADE UP ON THE WEEKENDS AS WELL IF MOST PARENTS AND TEAM OFFICIALS AGREE.

VAUGHAN SOCCER CLUB ABIDES BY THE WET FIELD POLICY INSTITUTED BY THE CITY OF VAUGHAN.  IF ANY TEAMS ARE USING THE FIELDS WHEN THEY ARE CLOSED YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE AND THE INCIDENT WILL BE REPORTED BACK TO THE CITY.  THE VAUGHAN SOCCER CLUB WILL FINE ANY TEAMS THAT ARE USING THE FIELDS WHEN THEY ARE CLOSED.

2. COACHES:
-PLEASE FOLLOW THE GAME AND PRACTICE SCHEDULES ON OUR WEB SITE. THIS IS THE MOST UPDATED SCHEDULE!!!!!
-MAKE SURE THAT YOUR TEAMS THROW AWAY THEIR WATER BOTTLES OR ANY GARBAGE IN THE GARBAGE AT THE END OF PRACTICES AND GAMES!!!!
-Coaches be aware that games (competitive or house league)supersedes practices (competitive or house league) if fields are overbooked or for other reasons like weather making a field unplayable
-The only officials that can ask a team to stop their game so that another game can be played because of important mitigating circumstances is VSC executive directors

4. The York Region Soccer Association is pleased to announce the very first Special Needs Summer Camp, August 24th - 28th, 2009. This first time camp will be offered to children from the age of 6-15, free of charge. Your assistance with this program is greatly appreciated, and posting it to you club's website would ensure that families in your area can register for this opportunity. Spaces are limited to 50 participates so we encourage you to pass this along to your members quickly to avoid disappointment.

-CLINICS START JULY 4th EVERY SATURDAY UNTIL THE END OF AUGUST.
-EACH CLINIC IS AN HOUR AND A HALF
-LOCATIONS ARE TBA (COULD BE ANY OF THE FIELDS IN MAPLE)
-COST $30.00
